Spring Wedding Ideas

Spring Wedding Ideas

A summer wedding maybe too warm and a winter one too cold. But a spring wedding is always great and what makes it all the more special is the unpredictability of the weather. Your spring wedding day can be either a bright sunny day or a damp chilly day. So make sure you have provisions for everything. Here are some great spring wedding ideas for you to make your spring wedding extra special.

Color

The first thing that comes to mind when we speak of spring is color. The beautiful flowers, colorful birds and the overall bright feel of spring must spill over your spring wedding. Decorate mainly with spring flowers, arrange for small butterflies to let free once the ceremony is over and also include fresh, green vegetables in the menu. The dash of color will make your spring wedding very memorable.

Outdoor Wedding

Spring is the ideal time to have an outdoor wedding. You can have your wedding in a garden or yard. Have it sometime in the evening and light candles all around. You can have scented candles and tie colored ribbons around the candles to keep the very colorful flavor of spring alive.

Attire

Spring is the time to get all flowery and colorful! So pick out a wedding gown in light shades of pink or blue. You can also go beyond tradition and wear a flowery chiffon dress as opposed to the customary white gown. A spring wedding is special and make an effort to make every aspect of it 'uniquely spring'.

Second Arrangement

Like mentioned earlier, spring can be unpredictable. So if you are preparing to have an outdoor wedding, the sudden rain or cold wave can play ruin. Similarly if you are hoping to have a wedding under a giant umbrella while the rain falls around making it irresistibly romantic, you have to make sure that back up arrangements are made. Keep a room or hall ready where you can shift if the weather plays havoc on your outdoor wedding. And if the rain refuses to come, you may just arrange for a giant water tank that can shower you with a lot of artificial 'rain'!
